MagicPod
There is a problem with the idle of my father-in-law's automobile, which causes it to run roughly. However, once the car is in motion, it appears to function well until it slows down or comes to a stop. The trouble code 0029ce indicates a combustion misfire in cylinder 2. I interchanged the positions of coil 1 and 2, but, I still encountered a fault with coil 2. Additionally, I exchanged the plugs but the issue persisted. Has anybody else had a similar problem or has any relevant information?
Bedelon
The issue might perhaps be caused by the injector. May I know the year of the car?

Bedelon
This is a description of the transition from the N52 to the N53 engine throughout the years. The N53 engine is known for having faulty injectors that often malfunction, even in the newest index 11 version. If you have the later engine, I would recommend testing the injectors. MagicPod
Upon obtaining the vehicle identification number (VIN), I have determined that the engine in question is the N52 model.
Bedelon
It is possible that the issue is still with the injector. However, if that is really the case, the cost of repairing it will be relatively lower compared to the newer models, which cost £500 or more. I would still do a leak off test. MagicPod
I have a replacement on its way. Can I just change them over and consider the task complete? I would want to learn about the leak off test since I have never performed one before.
Bedelon
It is necessary to write code for this, since coding is required for everything in today's world.
