Connecting to Android Auto

I own a Samsung Galaxy A70.
When I connect it via the front connection port with a high-quality cable, the Android Auto sign appears on the Home Screen. Upon pressing the right button to access the AA screen, the A A screen briefly appears then swiftly vanishes, returning to the ordinary Home Screen without displaying the AA sign.
Although I have had it for 3 years without any issues, I purchased the cable particularly for its intended application.
Does anybody have any insights as to the cause of this occurrence?

I just acquired my CX-30 in the month of March. In order to successfully use Android Auto, I have found that I need to delete the cache in the Android Auto app, restart my phone, and then connect the cable when the phone has restarted. However, its success rate is just around 5-10%. An error notice appears at the bottom of the screen indicating that a connection to Android Auto cannot be established. Exceedingly annoying. I have successfully connected the same connection that I used with my last vehicle without encountering any problems. The vehicle in question was a Subaru Impreza.

My android device failed to function properly until I tried using a different cable. Subsequently, it successfully established a connection. However, the only functional feature on it is Google maps. None of the other applications that appear on the device function properly. When attempting to make a selection, an error message is shown stating "this function is currently unavailable."

If you are encountering difficulties with AA, have you experimented with using an other mobile device, borrowed from an acquaintance or a relative?

I would want to state that I have not had any issues with AA when using my Motorola Power device, whether connected by wire or via a Moto MA-1 wireless adapter.

I previously had a Motorola G Power smartphone that initially functioned well. However, it eventually encountered issues due to the ingress of water or dust into the USB-C connection. Nevertheless, by using a fresh cable, the device was able to operate satisfactorily on most occasions.

Subsequently, I acquired a pristine Pixel 6A, which has functioned consistently on a daily basis for the last 6 to 7 months.

I suspect that the issue is with the physical connection, namely either the cable, the port, or a mix of both.

Despite attempting to use a different cable, the connection issue persists even after many months. I am now experiencing charging troubles, which leads me to suspect that the problem lies with the phone's connection.
