HeadlinesQuick
I am interested to know whether individuals often perceive a higher-pitched sound and increased monotony when comparing titanium exhaust systems to stainless steel ones.
PopeyeR
Inconel surpasses both options in terms of performance and quality.
Shadesmo
It has been reported that titanium exhibits less acoustic resonance and produces lower levels of noise compared to steel. As I have only been exposed to titanium, I am not certain. However, titanium is known to produce a high volume and does exhibit a little droning sound. Mindumer
You will be in good condition as long as you get a high-quality Titanium system. While it is true that aftermarket exhausts tend to produce a droning sound, I personally do not find it to be a significant issue in my particular configuration. Naturally, I am aware of the optimal range within which to maintain the car's engine power in order to minimise fuel consumption while driving at a consistent speed. Syncephe
An effective valved system should not produce a continuous low-pitched sound when the valves are closed, regardless of the material used. Please close the valves on the highway when you are inside the drone's RPM range. As previously said, inconel seems to be the most suitable option. I have successfully sold many Kline inconel exhaust systems, and all customers have expressed high satisfaction with their purchases.
Anhartic
What are the advantages of Inconel over titanium? If I were to replace my titanium exhaust with an Inconel one, what noticeable changes would I experience?
Mezuzzi
Titanium has a low weight, nevertheless, it undergoes a process of becoming fragile when subjected to high temperatures over extended periods. I have also been informed that, from an acoustic standpoint, they do not perform as well in comparison to stainless steel and Inconel. Inconel mitigates several limitations associated with titanium systems. Due to its exceptional strength, this alloy may be machined to achieve razor-thin wall thickness, resulting in reduced weight. Additionally, it exhibits superior heat resistance, resulting in enhanced durability. Presumably, it also sounds more pleasing? I don't know.
