The wiper speed is insufficient when set to high.

Greetings, everyone.
Does every CX-30 exhibit such abysmal wiper performance? Please watch the two films when the wipers are manually set to the maximum speed.
The CX-30 does around one wipe per second, whereas the Durango performs approximately 1.4 wipes per second.
That is a significant disparity, particularly in the midst of a torrential downpour.

Apply a hydrophobic polymer coating to your glass surface to minimise the requirement for using wipers. I use Aquapel, a product that offers a variety of alternatives on the market. It is straightforward to apply and provides a minimum duration of six months. I apply fertiliser throughout the spring and autumn seasons. After experiencing its benefits, you will not revert to using unprotected glass.

Fascinating method of presenting oneself. The user's text is an emoji depicting a person shrugging.

In response to your query, not all CX30s exhibit such sluggishness.
The turbos possess more power.🤣

As 20CX30JBM said, the use of a hydrophobic coating provides significant assistance.
I use RainX.

We kindly request that you allocate some time to provide us with a photograph of yourself at the age of 30, along with a brief introduction about your background and personal information.

Greetings.✌

We appreciate the responses from all of you. The vehicle is a 2021 model, coloured silver, and is owned by my wife. I am a sporadic driver. The malfunctioning wipers are the first anomaly I have seen in the automobile. The maximum velocity is entirely insufficient under intense rainfall.
The coating you recommended for the windscreen does not provide the solution to my query. I suspect that either the calibration of the motor or the motor itself is malfunctioning.
Thank you.

By applying a glass coating, the requirement for windscreen wipers would significantly decrease, and the reliance on high-speed use will become obsolete.

In my experience, fast speed has never shown to be advantageous under severe rainfall.

If the issue of sluggish wiper speed cannot be rectified, I may consider attempting the application of a coating. I like to have wipers that are in proper working condition, yet... If I am unable to get what I want, I will need to settle for what is within my reach.
By the way, what is the duration of the glass coating's lifespan?
Thank you.

The one concern I have with my 2021 (preferred) vehicle is the pace at which the wipers operate. The "sensing" function fails to detect or perceive. Regardless of whether I set it to a low or high variable. Then the intensity of the rain is insufficient for light drizzle and too weak for heavy rainfall. Furthermore, the altitude is excessive for typical rainfall and insufficient for intense downpours. Furthermore, I am now using rain-x.
I have never operated a different vehicle that exhibited such a significant restriction on the capabilities of the windscreen wipers. Although auto-sensing may seem impressive in theory, it is unfortunately ineffective in practice. I typically first set it to a lesser level, and if there is no response, I gradually increase the setting to the maximum level, which may result in one or two wipes. Typically, when it is raining, I often adjust the setting many times while driving. There have been previous posts on this topic. No other solutions have been proposed save than using Rain-X or insisting that the auto-sensing feature is really excellent (which it is not).

Indeed, the experience was largely same. Given that both of us own a 2021 model year, I am curious to know whether the issue is exclusive to the 2021 models only. Do all 2021 models have the same issue, or is it limited to certain units? What about the years 2022 and beyond? Assuming Mazda has resolved the problem in subsequent models, the essential question is whether the solution can be applied to the 2021 model by substituting a component from a newer model and/or resetting the control unit.
