Adv3nture
Good evening everyone, My automobile was involved in an incident and the whole inside has been completely destroyed by fire. However, the exterior and engine remain undamaged. I am looking for a source where I can get a complete replacement interior for my car. Can anybody provide any recommendations? and expenses Furthermore, should I let the insurance company to declare it as a total loss? I really doubt that I will get the desired price for it. Should I choose for another GLC 63s AMG or should I consider the electric EQC SUV?Assistance requested.
Talentrews
What is your current location? The problem lies in the fact that the 63s variant has a luxurious full leather inside, which is not present in the lesser versions. Consequently, there is a scarcity of secondhand interiors available for purchase, and the wiring harnesses and air ducts are likely to be compromised. I would try to locate some comparative pricing for you to substitute the car, and advise them to declare it as a loss while striving to get the most favourable price from them. The GLC63s and EQC exhibit significant differences. I have transitioned from a GLC63s to an EQA and I am experiencing a sense of longing for the 63s. I have another item that I have placed an order for, which is the reason for this. I do not miss the expense of the GLC gasoline bill, but that is the one thing I do not miss. The occurrence of a workshop last week did not provide any assistance to me.
Bridgenix
Delay your purchase of the automobile until you get the insurance price, then repurchase the car from the insurance company.
Adv3nture
What was your method of discovering the EQA? May I inquire about the other items you are acquiring? Indeed, the absence of the 63s will be much felt since it served as a substitute for companionship and solace following the passing of my mother. Adv3nture
Indeed, my son-in-law expressed such sentiment to me. However, the challenge is in acquiring the interior for it. ... and I extinguished the fire that had been ignited in the vehicle by someone! However, the firefighters ultimately submerged the automobile. and effectively caused more harm than benefit. However, wouldn't it be recorded as a categorization write-off? Furthermore, there is an additional need for insurance coverage, making it quite unlikely for the item to be resold in the future.
Captiva
The extent of the damage will be significant. It is advisable to abandon it and get an alternative.

Videoman
After installing a new interior, it is possible to discover water damage in electronics or wire harnesses. Additionally, there may be an unpleasant lingering fire smell on warm days. Moreover, if the interior is saturated, there is a potential danger of mould and corrosion occurring under the carpet. I believed that fire damage referred to the previous Cat B classification, which thus rendered the vehicle ineligible for road use. If you are interested in disposing of it, you may consider repurchasing it with the intention of dismantling it, or exploring the possibility of selling it to a Mercedes breaker. However, it is not advisable to invest a significant amount of money in purchasing a new interior. Apologies for the unfortunate circumstances. Adv3nture
You must write correctly. There is a foul odour inside the automobile, and it seems unlikely that I will ever be able to completely eliminate the burned smell, no matter what I do. As you said, it is likely that the automobile may be dismantled and its pieces sold separately. The car is in excellent condition, with no damage to the alloy wheels and the engine and bodywork are flawless.
