MagicPod
Currently, I do not have access to the car's owner's manual. Could someone please verify the specific sort of battery that is needed? Thank you in advance.
Inspirli
If you own the key fob and it is equipped with keyless entry functionality, opening it is a straightforward process. Simply use the included mechanical key, similar to a screwdriver, and inspect the battery status. The battery model is CR1632. You may replicate his actions with the knife using the key blade instead. The design is quite intelligent and well-executed. 👍

Inspirli
I have been receiving notifications about a depleted battery for quite some time now. I purchased CR1632 batteries from Amazon, which were sent by Go Green Batteries. The batteries I received had an expiration date of 2032.👍🔋 If anybody is interested. The user is referring to two Energizer CR1632 3V lithium coin cell batteries that are used for car keys and van key fobs. The provided link is https://amzn.eu/d/0qJYte2. Authorce
Occasionally, I have discovered that a Battery of comparable dimensions also works well. Regarding my key fob, I believe it requires a CR2032 battery. However, since I didn't have a spare one available, I attempted to use a CR2025 battery instead, which proved to be functional despite being significantly slimmer. Preedom
The smartkey of the Mk4 is equipped with a large and powerful CR2450 cell. I have never owned anything that required such a large cellular device before!
TigerDrummer
I too changed my battery with a CR2032 a few months ago and it is functioning well.
Inspirli
The size of the object is rather large, like that of a power bank built for jump-starting a 12v battery when it becomes depleted.
