  1. Refuelled yesterday, displaying 330 miles; after driving 2 miles, it decreased to 300 miles. It appears to be pretty inaccurate. We will await the dealer's response. It indicated a range exceeding 200 miles on a full tank.
  2. Thank you. I observed discussions regarding this matter, but I anticipated it would not be a significant issue. We shall visit the dealer on Thursday for diagnostics to ascertain their assessment.
  3. According to the user manual, utilising 87 octane is sufficient for the 280 hp model, hence premium fuel is unnecessary. I have verified the display using manual calculations, and the results appear to be quite similar.
  4. Greetings everyone, I possessed the vehicle for almost three weeks and have accrued around 700 miles. I needed to refuel approximately three times, and upon checking our miles per gallon, we are averaging around 16 to 17 mpg. The range following a refuelling indicates between 200 and 225 miles. I have observed posts regarding the recalls; however, upon consulting the dealer, they confirmed that there are no recalls associated with my VIN. The other peculiar aspect is the quantity of fuel remaining when the tank is indicated as empty. Approximately 14 to 15 gallons will be required for an 18.5-gallon tank. Is anyone else experiencing a similar mileage issue, and what actions did you take to resolve it?
  5. I have removed the lowest bolt closest to the ground. The defective transmission line and the oil sump pipe are causing significant difficulties. Could you provide guidance on the most effective method to remove the top bolt on the SM? The heat shielding material for the DPF/CAT is obstructive.
  6. DPF has been deleted; thus, I must access it from beneath. Thank you.
  7. No elevator I regret not having done so. It would significantly simplify the process. I have removed all components. I can now see the starting motor from the engine compartment. I am uncertain about the placement of the holding bolts for the SM. Could someone kindly provide a photograph of the precise location? It would be very appreciated. Does the order of wire removal from the SM important, or is it inconsequential, similarly to the installation process? I disconnect the negative connection of the primary battery while working on the automobile. I believe it need two bolts for the SM. What is the size and kind of the socket? Thank you
  8. Accessing that section seems challenging without disassembling the components you specified. I may need to address this issue alone. Could someone recommend a comprehensive resource on this topic? Haynes handbook or an alternative guide. Thank you
  9. The starter motor has seized on my E250 CDI. The task seems to be challenging. Requiring access from both the upper and lower sections of the engine. Access to a lift would undoubtedly be beneficial, something I now lack. It would need an axle stand if I were to do it alone. According to the opinions of the MB forum members, what price should I anticipate for the replacement of the starting motor? Have any owners replaced the starting motor on the 651 engine? Thank you
