  1. A friend of mine had same problem
  2. I will need to investigate tomorrow morning. Thank you. Do you have any insights into the zero voltage from the alternator and the method I employed for testing it?
  3. All wires originating from the battery and power distribution box appear to be clean and free of corrosion; however, there was a quantity of stagnant water in the battery tray, which has already been removed.
  4. The title indicates that my E93 experiences a no-charge or no-crank issue, yet it may be jump-started. I conducted research on this topic and found minimal information. I have purchased a new battery, although there is still no ignition without a jump start. Attempted to install an alternative power distribution box and conducted continuity testing on what I believe to be the best option. All cabin lights and controls appear to function as indicated. I have directly checked the alternator, connecting the red wire to the red cable from the alternator and grounding the black wire. However, this method yields no voltage. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much
  5. Were you able to ascertain the nature of the problem?
  6. Greetings to all, Enrolled today; it is the most commendable decision I have made this week. I require assistance; I have acquired pristine, authentic M3 alloys from a 2003 coupe. The rear tyre dimensions are 255/40/18. I have just discovered that the wheels do not fit after attempting to install them. They are positioned excessively beyond the rear arch. Does anyone know how I can make these rims compatible, and would a 245 tire fit onto the present wheel?
  7. The part number in the listing concludes with 974.
  8. The initial link I obtained, but you may utilise the part number to compare prices.

  11. It is likely the thrust piece; the 4 series includes racks with an available thrust piece repair kit, as I have replaced several. With the engine off, oscillate the steering wheel laterally and observe for any noise emanating from the rack.
  12. I have not yet charged the EV3; nevertheless, with our Kia Soul, we always secured the vehicle while charging (AC), and when the vehicle was unlocked, the wire was easily detached.
  13. Thank you for your response. The message was received, and shortly thereafter, I received a recall notice about the EGR. I drove the vehicle to the main BMW dealership, where they performed the EGR repair and conducted diagnostics on the drivetrain problem. It was then determined that a new gearbox is required. I am awaiting a response from an independent establishment but thought I would seek advice here as well.
  14. Greetings, everyone, I received the aforementioned warning on my 2016 BMW 218d Active Tourer, automatic. Upon taking it to BMW for a diagnostic examination, they indicated a fault code related to the torque converter lock-up clutch, stating that a new gearbox is required, with a cost of £10,000.My vehicle is eight years old with 36,000 miles on the odometer; there must be other solutions available. Any recommendations? The vehicle operates normally, and the warning indicator disappears for many days after the engine is turned off.
