  1. Thank you. I am unable to send direct messages due to the novelty of my account. If you are present I will collect a wiper motor tomorrow, and it appears that an eMMC replacement has been included in the task due to a recall. Should I be concerned about my device getting rooted?
  2. Your assertion is accurate. The UK lacks Full Self-Driving (FSD) capabilities equivalent to those in the US; so, acquiring it merely enhances the Enhanced Autopilot (EAP) with traffic light recognition and offers no more features. This indicates that it functions solely on the motorway (highway). Tesla's Full Self-Driving (FSD) and other autonomous driving technologies have yet to achieve certification, anticipated in 2026, after which they would be activated via a software update. The Tesla Service representative indicated that the recent policy includes the disabling of Full Self-Driving (FSD) capabilities for salvage vehicles, in addition to revoking access to the Supercharger network. I am uncertain about the features that may be lost if I upgrade to MCU2, as the previous owner does not recall what was unlocked on the car over five years ago. How can I establish contact with an individual capable of rooting MCU2?
  3. I have installed Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric tires on many vehicles over the last few years. Silent, comfortable, excellent wear rates, and superior traction in both dry and wet conditions.
  4. It is important to note that both Mercedes and Jaguar have historically catered to a distinct and limited market for the V12 engine. The V12s exemplify understated luxury, equipped with several features, yet operate quietly. The AMG, or XJR, has consistently been the prominent sporty option: loud exhaust, several sports features, enhanced seats, and a significantly elevated silhouette. The AMG models surpassed the V12s, such as the SL600, by a ratio of 13:1, with 150 SL600s remaining in the UK compared to 2000 SL55, SL63, and SL65 models.
  5. An annual expenditure of one thousand dollars on maintenance and repairs does not constitute "extravagant spending" for the upkeep of a V12 engine. Examine Lot 265 from Historics last month. This indicates a greater likelihood of costly upkeep, and it has only attained a value of £8,500. It requires much courage to undertake the upkeep of a V12 when a newer, lower-mileage SL may achieve comparable speed.
  6. It is an appealing concept, however I hesitate at the notion of £16,000 "invested since 2008." “£16,000 over 17 years: that does not impress me significantly,” to paraphrase the philosopher, Shania. That appears to indicate "self-performed maintenance," rather than service by the primary dealer. The mileage appears to be consistently 2,000 miles per year recently, which is favourable. Requires two new tires to replace the current eight-year-old ones that maintain traction for 500 horsepower. Historics recently sold a comparable SL600 with 80,000 miles for £8,500 last month. Parcel 265 I appreciate the V12 engines; yet, their operational and maintenance costs are prohibitively high, resulting in their owners rarely accumulating regular miles.
  7. Some tires provide a superior riding quality. Conduct research both here and online. Consider testing a decrease of one or two psi prior to investing in the tires. Are the shocks and suspension in proper condition? I had 18-inch wheels on my E350 coupe and have 19-inch wheels on the new E400 coupe. I concur that the ride is somewhat more challenging; but, the previous tires were subpar and excessively worn (the name escapes me). Consequently, I replaced them with Hankook tyres, which have improved the performance. I execute them a psi under the book.

Double-clicking the lock button deactivates the key. If you neglect it, it will persist in emitting a signal and depleting the battery. The most recent keys deactivate immediately in the absence of detected movement.
  9. I should examine the frequency of oil changes, with the optimal interval being either 12 months or 7,000 to 10,000 miles.
  10. Thank you for the reminder.
  11. Are there any other considerations I should review before acquiring a vehicle, apart from the standard inspections?
  12. I am planning to acquire a new vehicle this year and have been considering BMW models, specifically the 3 Series and 5 Series, namely the 2.0L 320d and 520d from the 2012 model year and later. Both options appear satisfactory; however, I believe they are equipped with the N47 engine, which reportedly requires significant maintenance, particularly concerning the timing chain. Would it be prudent to opt for a higher mileage 3.0L 330d or 530d instead?
  13. Indeed, it is necessary to detach the pipe from the injector itself. Have you assessed the fuel pressure while cranking using an OBDII reader?
  14. It is necessary to bleed the injectors, since there may be an air lock present.
  15. Excluding the really unusual autos, I have discovered that both the value and performance of a car do not much impact insurance prices. The premium is mostly influenced by the risk profile of the manufacturer, model, person/occupation, and geographical location, rather than any other factors.
