  1. Indeed, doing the task alone incurs no cost (the future actions of others remain uncertain). Considering it is complimentary, why not go with the upgrade if you are not using Kia navigation? Any new features will be implemented if introduced, perhaps enhancing the experience. For instance, a prior initiative that enhanced the audio system. Ultimately, the decision rests with you. You are not required to
  2. If you do not pay for them, you will not get them after the first two. However, you are therefore overlooking features such as the ability to disable speed warnings with voice activation (in the most recent version).
  3. I communicated with them today; they indicated that they are replacing the entire fuel system. I have demanded documentation verifying the components installed and confirming that they are authentic BMW parts, as well as an extended warranty; otherwise, they may retain the vehicle.
  4. Thank you for your clarification. I may insist on having it delivered to my local BMW store to resolve the issue and observe the outcome. Thank you one more.
  5. I am uncertain; the individual from AA indicated that the rear pump was functioning OK, but suggested that the front pump might be the potential problem. I communicated with the dealership from whence I acquired it (Ford), as it was traded in. They indicated that they are expecting wire maps from BMW, the significance of which is unclear. Which gasoline pump operates at low pressure and which operates at high pressure? This is entirely unfamiliar to me.
  6. I recently purchased a 2018 X5 with 82,000 miles. One week after the acquisition, it failed to start. The AA was summoned and suggested a potential fuel pump issue. It was returned to the garage from where I got it (not BMW), and it has now been with them for four days without a definitive diagnosis. I believe that mileage is insufficient for a fuel pump issue. Has anyone encountered a similar experience? Are there any potential aftereffects or issues associated with replacing a gasoline pump, should that be the underlying problem? Any assistance or information would be appreciated.
  7. It is equipped with KAFAS, enabling it to interpret traffic signs effectively. The absence of Adaptive Cruise Control may be the problem.
  8. My vehicle was in the dealership for many days, and I received a Mini Cooper S as a loaner. The loan vehicle's Speed Assist displayed the present speed restriction, the forthcoming speed limit, and the distance to the commencement of that limit. I am unable to locate that setting or a comparable option on my M240; do you have any suggestions?
  9. Delphi Automotive sought Chapter 11 protection due to their agreement to absorb surplus labour from GM, which subsequently led to unsustainable pension and healthcare expenditures after extensive layoffs.
  10. By taking a service plan at this time, you will get two A (minor) services which primarily include an oil and filter change and a thorough inspection of various components, in addition to one B (major) service. In addition, there are other items that need attention during the 4-year service for your diesel automobile, including the fuel filter, air filter, pollen/cabin filter, and brake fluid (which has to be replaced every 2 years according to MB's recommendations). Is a gearbox fluid change included in the service plan as stated in the owner's manual? In my opinion, the first response would be to approach a local independent service provider that has expertise in handling Star systems and is capable of updating the DSR (digital service record). It would be appropriate to enquire about the cost associated with obtaining the necessary updates. Seeking a recommendation for a reputable independent service provider in or around Chester would be much appreciated.
  11. I have just returned from a vacation in a rural cottage in the Dordogne area. The individual in charge said that there is a noticeable absence of wasps, bees, and butterflies this year. Indeed, he is correct. There was indeed an absence of it. It is really concerning.
  12. The new premium seems much less expensive, considering that you are insuring something with a value that is 27 times higher, for just thrice the cost. It might be considered a great deal!
  13. Am I the only one who thinks that the C63 has an attractive appearance, but the back spoiler seems like it was added as an afterthought, like something from a Meccano set?
  14. Shiyardit, please provide an update on your progress.
