Turning the engine on and off while the engine is running should cause the note to alter (and maybe even a click or clang) as the clutch engages and disengages the pump. When air conditioning stops functioning, it could be due to a lack of refrigerant rather than a costly breakdown.

I had a little trouble removing the front door liner, but I imagine it will be much simpler the next time around! It's quite large and cumbersome 🙂 We received our W639 with the rear speakers included in the Dualiner "comfort pack," which also included the rear trim panels. To keep the dogs from being overly startled, we've always kept the fader on front only. 😄
