I apologise for the inconvenience, but I would like to understand why the car is not roadworthy if you were only made aware of the issue by the SOTA update? The dealer is currently unable to do anything to address the issue if the necessary part is on back order; thus, they have offered a November date.

Hello everyone, I just wanted to let you know that after updating to Pivi Pro OS 4.3.3, my car recently detected this DC converter error. This patch update was intended to diagnose an issue that has been associated with numerous recalls in the US but has thus far not been recalled in the UK. Land Rover Liverpool has been completely unhelpful since I contacted them. I was offered November for a diagnostic assessment because the car is not driveable. November is intolerable, and I already know the problem, so I don't need this. As a gesture of goodwill, has anyone been able to get a courtesy car and get Land Rover to fix this? I am aware that there are no parts available in the UK, so I anticipate a lengthy wait. I am not going down without a fight, and I'm happy to file a few claims on my own. However, I'm aware that I won't be alone in this, and I've heard from an insider that 154 cars have been waiting for the same part at Land Rover Liverpool in the past week, so this is going to be a major issue.

A dpf regeneration should be indicated by a dash light on the L551 diesel, which is a green variant of the red dpf full warning. Despite having the car scanner in the center of the CarPlay screen and knowing that a regeneration has just finished, I have never seen it!

It would seem to reason that, with all the advanced technology in today's vehicles, there would be an obvious indicator on the dashboard to let you know when a regen is underway, so you can avoid stopping the engine and wasting oil.

I'm not sure if my Icarsoft 2 will be able to perform the forced regeneration, so I may need to upgrade to Icarsoft 3. Thanks for the reply, though.

Attempting to burn off the DPF deposits typically results in increased fuel consumption. Icarsoft 3 is great; it wipes the slate clean and lets you trigger a regeneration whenever you choose.

Apologies for the delayed response. I was hoping someone else had experienced the same symptoms. Up until the amber warning light came on, I had no idea what was wrong with this vehicle.

My only clue that mine is performing a regent is a significant decrease in mpg, which happens whenever it does so. I haven't observed a change in mpg after regenerating.

Hey there! I just had my car regen and I've noticed a few things: first, it's using less fuel than before. Second, the temperature is rising faster than before. I've checked the coolant level, so is this normal? Lastly, is it running smoother?

Does your vehicle have COMAND or Audio20 installed? Which version, if any, is it? Contrary to COMAND NTG2.5, which came standard with Bluetooth Telephony, COMAND NTG2 only offered it as an add-on that could be accessed through the center arm rest. Retrofitting COMAND NTG2.5 units—which are essentially obsolete at this point—should be easy to get for cheap on eBay if the car in question is a kerper.

The head unit is normally configured to make Bluetooth phone calls, but not to stream music. Is it possible to stream music by plugging an adapter into an auxiliary socket, which is typically a 3.5 mm jack plug type? This setup was in my 2008 E Class.

I don't have the car yet, so I can't see what options are available on the head unit, but does the command center unit have aux in?

Does the arm rest have a connector socket? In that case, you can purchase a landline adapter, but it will only enable phone calls and not music streaming.

My 2007 SL350 doesn't appear to have a Bluetooth adapter, so I was wondering if anyone knew where I could get one.

I checked, and it appears to be out of stock. Deal on Toyota Parts - 16478-74180 Why couldn't I just cut a piece of 600 or 1000mm hose and insert it there? The inner diameters of all of them are likely to be approximately 5/16 inches.

Using your vehicle identification number (VIN), you can locate the small hose that connects your overflow reservoir to the radiator reservoir tank (Toyota Part No. 16478-74180, Hose, No. 3). See if this part number is in stock; it might be worth checking.

You could get that at any decent hardware store in your area; it's not even a moulded hose.

The hose that connects the reservoir to the radiator has the same part number as the one that goes into the reservoir, but I can't seem to locate it anymore. The 600mm hose (4T1SK12E3NU107380) is the right one for my vehicle, but it's only for the part of the hose that goes from the radiator to the reservoir. In order to connect it to the reservoir, I need to cut a piece of the 1000mm hose. I'm hoping it's the same ID, just longer.

Due to a lack of information specific to your vehicle, I was going to enquire as to its VIN in order to conduct a lookup and assist you. However, as mentioned in post #2, it is also possible for you to do it yourself.
