Inspirli
Hi everyone, I hope this message finds everyone well. I'm curious if anyone here has had any experience with Glenside Logistics located in Belfast. I spotted a Volkswagen T-roc on eBay at a price that honestly seems too good to be true. They said it is a repo car from a finance recovery auction, which explains the discount, but they’re asking for payment upfront. They claim to use a segregated business company bank account it all sounds reasonable, but I’d rather check if anyone’s actually bought through them before. Cheers, Rob
Lovelyas
Hi Rob, Never heard of Glenside Logistics before your post, but I’d be careful, lots of scam sites around lately. If the deal looks unreal, always double-check everything before sending a penny.
SundayShoes
Ask if you can view the car in person. If they say it’s not possible or start giving excuses like “it’s in secure storage,” walk away there are plenty of fake listings on eBay and Facebook Marketplace where people lose thousands. Racerse
I looked them up on Google and there are actually quite a few positive reviews about Glenside Logistics, mainly for their transport and haulage work. They appear to be a reputable company established in 2010 with trucks and drivers, not some pop-up website. Still, if you can view the car, that’s always the safest route. RumbleRex
If they demand a bank transfer before you’ve even seen the vehicle, that’s usually a red flag. Most scammers use that trick, they ask for money upfront, promise delivery, then disappear. Only a few proper companies (like Cinch or Cazoo) work remotely in a transparent way. PeakyOtter
Hi all, I actually purchased a Nissan X-Trail Tekna from Glenside Logistics in November. It was a repo, but the car was immaculate. They gave me ten days to check everything once it arrived, so I took it to my local dealership in Nottingham. My mechanic said the car was in excellent condition no warning lights, no hidden issues. I rang Glenside Logistics the next day to confirm I was keeping it. Can’t fault them at all.
Captiva
Same here I got a Volvo V60 R-Design from them just before Christmas. There was a small delay with delivery (it took about 10 days instead of 7), but the car came exactly as listed. I was nervous about paying upfront but I spoke to them on the phone several times and they sounded genuine, answered every question patiently. The payment goes into a segregated account, so they don’t actually receive it until you confirm delivery. That part reassured me.
Inspirli
Thanks everyone, appreciate all the info. I decided to go ahead just waiting for the invoice from them now. They’ve been responsive so far, so fingers crossed. I’ll update once I get the car.
Captiva
For what it’s worth Glenside Logistics are legit. I used to work in their finance department before relocating to Manchester last autumn. The repossessed vehicle side of the business is fairly new they started doing it mid-2023, buying cars directly from bank auctions. The money-back policy and segregated payment system are both genuine. They do it to give buyers peace of mind.
SushySosa
I’ve just seen a Skoda Karoq SE L listed by Glenside Logistics on eBay. The price looked suspiciously low so I nearly skipped it then I came across this thread, after reading everyone’s experiences here I think I’ll give them a call. Cheers to everyone for sharing, you’ve probably helped a lot of people out.

Inspirli
Just got the car today! It looks brilliant super clean inside and out, all documents present including V5C, MOT certificate, and service record. Taking it to a mechanic tomorrow to double-check everything but first impressions are solid
RumbleRex
I’ll admit, I was sceptical at first but seeing your update convinced me. Seems like Glenside Logistics are the real deal after all. Nice one, mate that Tiguan looks spot on! I appreciate you sending the DM photo Rob.
