It’s a repossessed car, so the price is really appealing. They’re asking for payment up front, which makes me a bit nervous, even though they have a 10-day money-back guarantee. It was my first time getting a repossessed vehicle, so I was cautious too—especially about paying before seeing it. But the 10-day inspection period gave me some confidence. I did a fair bit of research, then took the plunge. Once the car arrived, I took it straight to my mechanic, who gave it a full check and said it was in excellent shape. Syncephe Posted September 3 Share Posted September 3 I went for a bank transfer. I took the precaution of double-checking everything with my solicitor to ensure everything was in order. He explained that bank transfers are a secure method and are well-protected under current regulations. Starting from September, if you are a scam victim, the banks are required to refund your funds within 5 days. It really just comes down to what feels right for you. My brother actually works with them as a lorry driver. He’s been with them for over a year now and says they’re a solid, professional outfit. It was supposed to arrive yesterday, but I received a call from them saying there’s a 48-hour delay in deliveries. Starting to get a little anxious now. Has anyone else experienced this? My car ultimately arrived after 12 days, but it was in excellent condition and I am really pleased with it today. Do not exert unnecessary stress at this moment. The process was thoroughly explained to me during my phone call, and I was grateful for their transparency. In the end, I chose to postpone the purchase because I prefer to inspect a vehicle in person, but traveling to Belfast was next ti immposible at the time. I was a bit iffy about the payment being required upfront, but after speaking with them a few times and reading all the positive reviews, I decided to go for it. The car arrived in just over a week, and it’s been running like a charm ever since. Plus, they called to follow up after the delivery, which was a nice touch.
