good!
-
Absolutely from first enquiry through to delivery, everything happened pretty much as explained. If they keep operating like this, I imagine they'll build quite a strong reputation in the repossessed vehicle market.
-
Not gonna lie, I expected this thread to end differently. These days every other story online seems to involve somebody getting scammed. Fair play to Zolee Logistics if they're doing things properly.
-
Well that's encouragin looks like I might finally give Zolee Logistics a call tomorrow about that Volvo.
-
Brilliant news! Enjoy it!
-
Evening all, the 3008 arrived this morning, the lorry driver called several times with updates and arrived exactly when he said he would. The Peugeot looks exactly like the pics and description no unexpected damage no warning lights. Massive thanks to everyone who replied in this thread because it genuinely helped me make the decision. My wife has already claimed it as her car!
-
I'm following this because they've got a Volvo V60 Cross Country listed that I'm quite interested in.
-
Hope it goes smoothly always appreciate when people come back and update these threads rather than disappearing

Hi everyone I've decided to proceed with the purchase, we'll keep all infromed

Last summer I purchased a repossessed 2022 Seat Ateca from Zolee Logistics, the whole thing sounded questionable at first. Low price, bank transfer, vehicle unseen etc. Every warning sign imaginable, yet everything actually happened exactly as they described. Vehicle arrived after about eight days.I inspected it, had my mechanic look over it and eventually decided to keep it. Sometimes genuine deals do still exist.
-
To be fair, I felt the same, but that's exactly why the inspection period exists. You still have the opportunity to get a mechanic involved before making your final decision.
-
I still struggle with the concept of buying a vehicle online even when companies have positive reviews. Maybe I'm just paranoid!

Never bought a car online before can anyone vouch for Zolee Logistics?

Mine was split into two payments. Reservation amount first, and then around two days later they sent the balance invoice before dispatch. What reassured me was their explanation about the segregated company account. -
That's useful to know did you have to send the entire payment before delivery?

I can actually help here, bought a Landy Discovery 5 through Zolee Logistics around three months ago and honestly, I expected something to go wrong because the price looked suspiciously low compared with dealer price but Zolee Logistics explained the vehicle had come from a finance recovery auction. Delivery ended up taking nine days and once it arrived, I had the full 14 day testing. My local garage checked it thoroughly and gave it a clean bill of health. In the end I kept it!!! -
Hi, Can't comment on the vehicle sales side, but we've used Zolee Logistics through work. We shipped industrial equipment from Northern Ireland into France last year. Everything arrived on schedule and communication was excellent throughout and based purely on the logistics side, they seemed very professional. Rgds

I've actually done some research on Zolee Logistics and they're registered under ZOLEE.H67 LTD and from what I found, they've been operating in transport and freight for quite some time. Their vehicle division seems newer but the company itself appears legitimate. Obviously everyone should do their own checks, but I couldn't find anything that raised alarm bells.

be careful mate that's all I'll say it's nothing wrong with asking questions before handing over money i'd rather annoy a seller with too many questions than regret sending funds somewhere later -
They told me their operations centre is in Belfast, not far from Geroge Best airport. Problem is I'm down near Plymouth, so travelling there would turn into a full weekend trip. One thing they mentioned was a 14 days inspection after delivery and a money back option if the vehicle isn't as described. They also said delivery normally takes between 7 and 10 days. Still feels a bit strange buying something this expensive remotely.

Completely agree with user2. I'm old-fashioned when it comes to buying vehicles. I like seeing the thing with my own eyes, checking the paintwork, hearing the engine and looking through the paperwork before spending thousands. That said, not everyone lives nearby. Where exactly are they based?

Personally I'd approach anything online with a healthy amount of caution these days. Not saying there's anything wrong with them but there are plenty of fake vehicle adverts floating around. Check Companies House, verify the address, call them directly and don't rush into anything. -
Evening all, had something pop up on my social media feed earlier that caught my eye. It was a listing for a 2021 Peugeot 3008 GT, and the asking price was quite a bit below what I've been seeing elsewhere. I made an enquiry out of curiosity and ended up speaking with someone from Zolee Logistics, a company based in Belfast. The company appears to have a good online presence; however, I would prefer to receive feedback from real people rather than relying on reviews. Has anyone here used Zolee Logistics for transportation or acquired one of their repo vehicles? Regards!

I had the same problem with my car as well but after it's heating is not anymore

Will turning the plugs on again (I mean, letting them light twice before ignition) do anything? Nothing changed after I tried this. The sound and sensation are constant, and I can't tell that the weather is changing either. Regarding the coolant temperature sensor, I used the diagnostic program I mentioned before to check all of the sensors' readings; upon cold start, every single one showed the same reading as the outside temperature. It simply doesn't idle at high enough RPMs; when I mentioned that it felt rough, I didn't mean that it coughed or sputtered. It usually hovers around the 1000 mark. It typically gets by on its own when I press and hold the accelerator for three or four minutes, which brings it up a bit. I need to restart the tool and collect all the values before I can share them with you.

Although I could be completely mistaken, I don't think that sensor has anything to do with cold starting or idle; its intended use is to help with warm engine and DPF regulation. Located on top of the DPF/EGR valve assembly, next to the DPF sensor hoses, is the larger CRDI (2.2) that I possess. Rough starting/idle...probably due to... Shiny Plugs?
